Fidel Onwodi Urges Politicians to Have Other Streams of Incomes and Strive for Excellence

The Chief Executive Officer of Didoz Lounge Lagos and Asaba Engr. Fidel Onwodi has called on politicians to diversify their economy base in order to reduce their dependence on government patronage.

Engr. Onwodi made this call on Sunday, December 9, 2018 on the occasion of an award presentation were he stated that instead of waiting for government to provide remunerations for politicians, they should have other streams of incomes, strive for excellence and provide employment for others.

Didoz Lounge Award by Lagos Ikeja City

The renowned business man whose Lounge won the “Best Club Of The Year” at the Lagos Ikeja City Award 2018, urged government to provide more conducive environment for Small and Medium Enterprises and businesses as government alone cannot employ every body.

“Government should encourage the growth of SMEs in order to create more platforms for job employment and self dependence for our teeming youths and entrepreneurs in Nigeria”, he stressed.

Fidel Onwodi for Okowa and Nwaobi

Onwodi who is also a PDP chieftain, called on all aggrieved politicians in Aniocha North and Delta State to work together for the reelection of Hon. Emeka Nwaobi and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, saying, “I’m also aggrieved and disgruntled but I remained in the party because I believe it is only through PDP that meaningful development can come to Anioma Nation.”

Engr. Fidel Onwodi who once worked for multiple multi-national oil companies gave up his lucrative oil and gas career to serve his people and as an active politician, was a one time House of Rep candidate for Aniocha Oshimili federal constituency were he contested for the seat with the incumbent,Hon. Mrs. Onyeameachi Mrakpor at the 2015 polls.
