Ex-Man Utd Star’s Marriage Hits Rocks

Former Manchester United and Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger and his wife, tennis ace Ana Ivanovic, have parted ways.

According to German outlet Blunte, the couple, who have three children together, have been separated for two months.

The distance between them is believed to have contributed to the strain on their relationship. Ivanovic has been staying in Serbia with their kids, while Schweinsteiger travels frequently for his work.

The couple’s last Instagram post together was in December 2024, and they haven’t been spotted together in months.

Schweinsteiger, who retired from professional football in October 2019, is currently working as a football analyst for ARD Sportschau.

He also published a biographical novel, “One of You,” in 2022. Ivanovic, a 2008 French Open winner, is currently relying on the support of her family in Serbia as Schweinsteiger is in Jakarta, Indonesia.

It’s unclear whether the couple can reconcile, but their separation marks the end of their nine-year marriage, which began with a romantic wedding in Venice.
