Ex-Delta Commissioner And LGA Chairman, Utomi Is Dead

The immediate past Commissioner for Agriculture in Delta State, Mr Hon Joseph Utomi is dead.

Utomi who hailed from Ubulu-uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area, showing no sign of illness, slumped and died on Friday, September 13, 2019.

A one time Chairman of Aniocha South Council and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), late Joseph Utomi was appointed to serve as a member of the Delta State Executive Council and Agric Commissioner at the near end of Governor Okowa’s first term in Office.

He was however, not fortunate to be among the Commissioners reappointed in the second term of Governor Okowa.

His funeral arrangements are yet to be made public as at the time of report.
