Ewulu Agog As Popular Corporate Czar, Onochie Umadia Declares For APC, Accuses PDP Of Marginalization

A popular Chartered Accountant, Financial Consultant and former Executive Director of Ecobank, Mr. Kingsley Onochie Umadia has on Sunday the 9th of December, 2018, declared membership of the All Progressive Congress, APC in his home town of Ewulu ward 9 in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.

The declaration was made amidst joy and jubilation from a deprived people, rejoicing that a saviour and rescuer of a son had returned home to lead his people to light.

The well read and exposed corporate czar who was instantly issued with his membership form, affirmed that his interest was not to vie for any political office, but to expose his people to the reality of the change mantra of APC.

Feigning disappointed over the unattended needs of his people in the past 18 years rule of PDP in Delta State, he accused the political leadership of the State of abandoning the Ewulu community to their own fate.

“I am here to encourage my people to keep faith with APC. We have over time been marginalized by the PDP and we can’t continue to fall prey to them.

I have very wide contact and reach in the APC. And seeing what they are doing in terms of development, I think I can leverage on that opportunity to attract democracy fortunes to my people.

I have made effort to reach out to various political leaders in the State in the past, to remember Ewulu community especially in fixing the Ewulu road; but they kept making promises they never fulfill”, he said.

The renowned former banking executive posited he was in the right place with APC, adding that politics is localized. He said in the interest of his people and using his relationship to curry favour from his political associates for his Ewulu community, he decided to return home to declare membership of APC in his Ward.

Mr. Onochie who declared his membership of APC alongside his followers and members of his family, advised the party executive and members to remain peaceful and united; promising he had come to assist them get stronger and salvage them of any weighing challenge.

Mr. Onochie Umadia was overwhelmingly welcomed by the Ward 9 APC Chairman, Mr. Peter Nwaokolo.

The Chairman commended him for showing interest in his people’s welfare, hence he came to identify with them and further lighten their burdens as believers of APC in Ewulu and Aniocha South LGA.

Speaking also was the APC Women Leader in Aniocha South, Madam Isioma Awe, who affirmed that Mr. Onochie’s coming around had afforded them a leader to always rally around in Nsukwa Clan.

She disparaged the PDP, stressing that all the work they did to deliver Governor Okowa in his first term had been forgotten and they treated like nonentity in a Party they swore utmost allegiance and loyalty to.

Madam Isioma Awe, specifically stated that on one of their outings with Governor Okowa, she knelt down and begged him to remember Ewulu community by constructing the only major road into the town, which he promised and blatantly failed to fulfill.

The highpoint of the event was the official presentation of APC membership card to Mr. Kingsley Onochie Umadia.

Present to witness this all important occasion were, the father of Mr. Onochie and Ozoma Onya of Ewulu Kingdom, Chief Umadia, a friend of Mr. Onochie, Mr. Okwuokei, members of Team Rister Izediunor and others too numerous to mention.
