Ethiope East LG Boss Assures NULGE, Staff of Cooperation, Open Door Policy


The Executive Chairman of Ethiope East local government area of Delta state, Rt. Hon. (Pharm.) Victor Ofobrukueta, has assured staff of the council of total cooperation and open door policy.

Ofobrukueta stated this while speaking to the executives of the National Union of Local Government Employees NULGE in the Council, led by its Chairman, Comrade Felix Erhivwode during a visit to the Chairman in his office to congratulate him on his victory and formal swearing in.

The Chairman who was speaking during the official handing over ceremony by the Head of Personnel Management and assumption of office, appreciated the HPM, and said there is nothing that is difficult or unachievable when there is commitment, understanding and cooperation.

Ofobrukueta while thanking the union for the visit, said the executive and union will continue to work together in harmony for the overall development of the local government, adding that they all have their responsibility and that it is the commitment of staff to duty that will determine how fast they are developing.

The council boss appealed to the union to ensure all staff of the council see their primary assignment or duty as their civic responsibility, saying that his administration has come to build on the legacy of His Excellency, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa’s Smart Agenda and Stronger Delta.

The council boss who the governor has set the pace and that it will be easier to follow up his agenda to make Ethiope East local government a home for all, calling on the people to support this administration do that together they will all celebrate their hard work.
