Elumelu Congratulates Obi Azinge on Formal Installation, Crowning as 14th Asagba of Asaba


Former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, has congratulated Obi Prof Epiphany Azinge, SAN, on his formal Installation and Crowning as the 14th Asagba of Asaba Kingdom in Delta State.

Elumelu who also felicitated and rejoiced with the people of Asaba said the formal Installation and crowning of the highly revered Monarch to the ancient Asagba throne is epoch-making in the cherish tradition and culture of the people.

In a statement on Saturday, October 5, 2024, Hon Elumelu described Obi Professor Epiphany Azinge, as an “international legal luminary, an iconic and charismatic leader who is destined and equipped to bring glory to the ancient and highly respected Asagba stool.”

Elumelu prayed God to give the monarch good health, long life and all that is needed to excel on the Asagba throne.

“I heartily rejoice and felicitate Your Royal Majesty, on this momentous occasion of the commencement of your reign as the 14th Asagba of Asaba kingdom. My prayer is that God in His Infinite Mercy will give your Royal Majesty good health and make your reign long, peaceful and prosperous” Elumelu stated with the salute of “Nna Agu! Nna Agu!! Nna Agu!!!,”

He urged the Monarch to use his vast experience and connection, nationally and internationally, to move the ancient kingdom of Asaba to another level of peace, love, unity and prosperity.
