Ebegba Preaches Love, Peace, Dutifulness at Eid Mubarak
Director General of the National Biosafety Management Agency NBMA, Dr Rufus Ebegba, has felicitated with the Islamic community in Delta State and Nigeria on the occasion of the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations.
In a statement released to the press, Dr Ebegba highlighted the essence of the celebrations, urging all to imbibe the ideal lessons of love, peace and dutifulness.
“As Moslems around the world celebrate the Eid-Al-Adha, I join its community in Abuja, Delta State and Nigeria, in sharing the joy, happiness, love and fulfillment it signifies.
“This celebration is centred around the devoted love that was explained in the relationship between Prophet Ibrahim and Allah, the Almighty; a relationship built on a genuine deference to love.
“We must from this, learn to project a love that inspires and unites our hearts towards positive outcomes”, he said.
Dr Ebegba, an Environmental/Agricultural Scientist and a Knight of the Catholic Church, charged to Deltans to consider love for social justice, equity and progressive unity as a means of exemplifying pure and sincere desires for our shared community.
“Society belongs to us all, it is a gift, as well as a responsibility, therefore in the spirit of love that this season signifies, I urge Deltans in an around the state to be rightly disposed to ensuring we have a state that provides opportunities for all, irrespective of status, tribe, ethnicity and religion.
