DESOPADEC: Orogun Congratulates Kome Okpobor

Renowned Students’ leader, Comrade Orogun Eniwake, has congratulated Chief Kome Okpobor on his nomination as an Executive Director on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, DESOPADEC.

Chief Okpobor who was successfully screened on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, by the State House of Assembly, hails from Isoko South local government area.

In his congratulatory message, Comrade Orogun, described the nomination of the PDP chieftain as “a round peg in a round hole”.

In his words, “I rejoice with you on your successful screening as Executive Director designate, Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESSOPADEC).

“Yours is a testament to the power of loyalty, belief, commitment, dedication and support to a course you believe in. You have been a firm believer of the Okowa led administration, an unwavering and consistent supporter of the governor-elect, Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori and the People’s Democratic Party.

“It is a no-brainer that this is a call to greater service to the Isoko people and the state at large, rather than some sort of reward. We are in no doubt that this appointment is resoundingly a round peg in a round hole and we have no doubt in your capacity to deliver.
