DESOPADEC Appointment: Overah Visits Ovie Of Mosogar, Assures Effective Representation

The Commissioner representing Sapele, Ethiope West and Okpe Local Government Areas in the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Hon. Joyce Overah has paid a familiarization visit to the Ovie of Mosogar, His Majesty, King Samson Omene Udrhie 1, to introduce himself to the traditional ruler.
Speaking on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 during the visit, Hon. Overah said that he has come to formally introduce himself as the Commissioner representing Ethiope West and the good people of Mosogar in the board of DESOPADEC, adding that the Commission is an agency with the aim of assisting the people of the oil producing area in Delta State.
The Commissioner promised to always consult with the host community and seek advice from the King to enable him know the needs and demands of the people that he will be representing, assuring that, he will ensure that the people of Mosogar are duly represented.
His Majesty, Samson Omene Udrhie 1, thanked him and his entourage for taking out time to visit him. He prayed for a peaceful, and prosperous tenure for the Commissioner.
The traditional ruler assured Hon. Joyce Overah of full support and cooperation from the people of Mosogar to enable him succeed.
The DESOPADEC Commissioner was accompanied on the visit by Mr Festus Pemu, Mr Umurhurhu Akpore Friday, Mr Onoriode Precious, Mr Raymond Overah, Mr Francis Obule, Mr Endurance Ikanone, Mr Frank Nujimen, and a team of others.
