Delta State Mourns Loss of Special Adviser, Chief Shimite Love
The University of Ibadan Alumni Association community is in shock following the death of Chief Shimite Love, a renowned member and Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Trade and Export.
According to a report by SPADENIGERIA, Chief Shimite Love was allegedly murdered by her husband in the early hours of Monday, April 21, 2025.
Chief Shimite Love was a graduate of Political Science from the University of Ibadan and a proud Chief of Ebu Kingdom in Delta State.
“Her intelligence, grace, and unwavering commitment to progress made her a shining star in Delta State’s political arena and a cherished voice within the UIAA. Personally, I will miss her radiant presence and insightful contributions during our alumni programmes.
“Her charm and intellect left an indelible mark. Both UIAA and Delta State just lost an asset,” the report stated.
Confirming the development, NEWSNET reports that the spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, SP Bright Edafe, in a brief message, revealed that the deceased husband is in protective custody.
