Delta North Senatorial Aspirant Congratulates Oshiomhole and New APC National Executives

An All Progressive Congress, APC chieftain and foremost Delta North senatorial aspirant, Amb. Gabriel Chukwuma Oyibode, has congratulated the newly elected national chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and other elected national executive members of the party.

Oyibode while congratulating Oshiomhole on his emergence as the National Chairman of the party, expressed confidence that the election of Oshiomhole is a great boost for the party in the forthcoming party primaries and general elections.

In his words: “The emergence of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as the newly elected APC National Chairman is a great development for our party as we gear towards the 2019 Polls. Comrade Oshiomhole, as we know him, is a liberal, progressive and uncompromising advocate of true democracy. His stints as the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Governor of Edo State are fundamental underpinnings that he would bring the needed dogged leadership that would entrench core progressive values to our great party and ultimately bring about the much needed success in the forthcoming general elections.”

Amb. Oyibode also acknowledged that the task of the newly elected National Executive Members would be to strengthen the party’s organizational structures at not just the national level but also state and local tiers.

Meanwhile, senatorial hopeful called on well meaning party leaders and members in general to support the the emerging party executives at the national, state and local levels to achieve success in the coming elections.

“We urge all party leaders and members to unite and support the legitimately elected executives, at all levels of the party structure, to ensure that we all emerge victorious in 2019. The task ahead is enormous as APC is posed to build on its success in the last election by winning in more states and at the national levels. So, we must be united for this purpose,” Oyibode noted.

However, Oyibode had some nice words for the out-gone party national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, by lavishing praises on him for the successful run of his tenure that had placed the party as truly a progressive organization.

Amb. Oyibode commended delegates and party faithfuls from Delta North Senatorial District and the entire members of the APC family for their ability to foster peace within the party.
