Delta Assembly Receives Consumer Rights Protection Agency Bill
The Delta State House of Assembly today received a bill for a law to establish the Delta State Consumer Rights Protection Agency and for other matters connected therewith.
The lead sponsor of the Bill, Hon. (Chief) Sherrif Oborevwori (JP), Member representing Okpe State Constituency presented the bill on the floor of the house at plenary and was seconded by Member representing Udu state Constituency, Hon. (Chief) Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor.
The bill successfully scaled through the first reading and will be read for the second time on Tuesday, 17th January, 2017.
