Delta Assembly embarks on Recess, confirms Nominee for Civil Service Commission

Delta Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has announced the annual recess of the House for year 2017.

Oborevwori in his closing remarks while calling for adjournment of today’s sitting, said that the House will reconvene on August 22, 2017 at the end of its 4 weeks break.

Meanwhile, the House at Plenary Screened and Confirmed the appointment of Dr. Philomena Ejiroghene Oyearome as member of the Delta State Civil Service Commission.

Oyearome’s nomination was forwarded to the House by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as replacement for late Mr. Matthew Oke who until his demise was a member of the Commission.

Dr. Philomena Ejiroghene Oyearome who was a one time commissioner, enjoyed the rare privilege 0f taking a quick bow due to her outstanding resume past service to the state.
