Delta APC Unveils New State Secretariat 800Metres From Government House

The Delta State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled its new State Secretariat in Asaba, the state capital.

The new Secretariat which was unveiled Thursday, September 20, 2018 by the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources Dr. Ibe Kachikwu is located along Anwai-Illah road, and about 800Metres before the Delta State Government House, Asaba.

Kachikwu, while opening the party’s new edifice, charged Officials and members of the party to uphold unity and collectively work towards the total victory of APC in the forth coming 2019 elections.

The Minister, assured of his commitment in assisting the party, to making the new Secretariat comfortable for the party Officials to carryout their daily activities.

Meanwhile, the State Factional Chairman of the Party, Prophet Jones Erue whose State Working Committee (SWC) is in custody of the new Secretariat, stated that the location of the Secretariat was strategically chosen to project the party to victory in 2019.

Prophet Erue said, “the New Secretariat, the position is strategic. We took the position for physical and spiritual reasons. Physical reason is that, it is befitting, it has space, it has the number of offices that we have to occupy and secondly, we are inching close to the Government House.”

Postulating that, when PDP took government House, they were located at SSS road, he said, “we decided to take a bold step to be at Anwai Road and walk to the gate, straight to take over power because for sure, I am leading opposition to victory and we are winning the governorship on landslide victory.”

The Adams Oshiomhole recognized APC Chairman in Delta State, further discarded the trend of factionalization in the party in the State, explaining that, there are only tendencies in the party who are all working for the victory of the party on different fronts.

“Let nobody not deceive you that there are no factions in APC. APC has only one Chairman, there are only tendencies in APC. Even in the politics of America, there are tendencies in the Democratic party and there are tendencies in the Republican. Tendency do no mean faction. People believe that they can achieve one thing about the party through a particular process and way. Their design and way can be different from the one my group has but we have a common goal. So the time for the common goal, when it comes, you will see how united we are and we will sweep PDP away.” Erue harped.
