Delta APC Parallel Guber primaries: Utomi Emerges Winner of Ogodo-Led Primary
Report reaching Asaba Metro reveals that Prof Pat Utomi has emerged winner and flag bearer of the Delta APC Gubernatorial primary election with a total number of 2,486 votes.
Announcing the result of the first parallel primary election held at Nelrose Hotel, Asaba, the returning officer, Elder Favour Adibor disclosed that a total of 3758 delegates were accredited for the exercise while 3755 votes were declared valid while 3 votes were recorded as invalid.
Adibor informed that Prof Pat Utomi won the party’s ticket with a total number of 2,486 votes, while Chief Great Ogboru scored 106 votes, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh gathered 362 votes and Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei scored 801 votes.
Meanwhile, counting and sorting of votes are currently going on at the Federal College of Education (Technical), along Ibusa road, Asaba, venue of the primary election organized by Prophet Jones Erue where Chief Great Ogboru is leading.
