Continuous Voters Registration: Avoid Late Hour Rush, NSCDC Commandant Urges Deltans

The Delta State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Iskilu Akinsanya, has advised members of the public and Delta residents to take advantage of the early kick off of the Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) to avoid late hour rush.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Emeka Okwechime, in Asaba, stating that NSCDC Delta State Command under the leadership of Commandant Iskilu Akinsanya, has restated the commands readiness to partner with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration Exercise in the state.
The NSCDC described its partnership with INEC , as part of its corporate social responsibility and also believes that advocacy is part of Public Relations to mobilize the populace for the all important assignment.
According to the statement, Commandant Akinsanya advised residents of the state who have attained the age of eighteen and those without a Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to participate in the Continuous Voters Registration exercise to avoid late hour rush.
The Commandant who stated that the NSCDC is a friendly and approachable security outfit, also appealed that members of public can come forward with verifiable information that can lead to the arrest of criminal elements in the state.
