Constituents Thank Owhefere For N50 Million Empowerment Package

The 247 beneficiaries of the N50 million empowerment program of the Member Representing Isoko North Constituency and Majority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Tim Owhefere, have expressed appreciation to the Lawmaker for uplifting their economic status and wellbeing.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke to newsmen during the flag off of the program by the state Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa at Akiewhe-Owhe in Isoko North Local Government Area, described the gesture as an attribute of a worthy ambassador.

The respondents noted that Hon. Owhefere had provided quality representation to Isoko North Constituency, stressing that the Lawmaker who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Information, had always placed the need of the constituents in high priority.

They said aside the numerous infrastructural projects he attracted to Isoko North, especially in the last three years as the Majority Leader, Hon. Owhefere had embarked on empowerment programs that have established and uplifted many families in the local government area, economically.

The respondents thanked the Lawmaker for putting smiles on their faces and passed vote of confidence on him, even as they assured him of their unflinching prayers and support in his reelection bid.

The Chairman, Isoko North Local Government, Mr. Emmanuel Egbabor, the Chairman, PDP Isoko North, Dcn. Godwin Ogorugba and the Chairman, PDP Elders Council in the local government, Chief J.E. Iyeri commended Hon. Owhefere for the quality of the empowerment items which include; Four Mini Buses, two Cars, 13 Tricycles, 26 Motorcycles, 26 Sewing Machines, 20 Generators, 26 Hair driers, 26 Grinding Machines, 50 Wrappers for women and Cash to 54 women to boost their small scale businesses.

They charged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items and urged them to sustain their support for PDP led administration in the state.

Hon. Tim Owhefere said the empowerment program was another milestone in his efforts to promote peace, good governance, development and prosperity in his constituency and assured the people of sustenance of the program as well as more dividends of democracy to the area.
