CSR: Bube-Dan Global Resources Intervenes On A Failed Section Of Asaba-Benin Expressway

Bube-Dan Global Resources limited at the weekend embarked on clean up of a stretch of the Asaba-Benin Expressway, between Koka Junction and Oshimili South Local Government Secretariat to enhance vehicular movement on the ever busy road..

The Chief Executive Officer of the leading civil engineering firm, Mr Ifeanyi Nkeki, said the exercise was in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in its areas of operations.

Mr Nkeki explained that his organization was worried over the obstruction of traffics on that part of the road as a result of heaps of sands that covered both sides of the roads.

He said his company has to take steps to ameliorate the pains on motorists by embarking on the humanitarian work as palliative measures to the problem.

The CEO disclosed that Bube-Dan Global Resources limited had earlier carried out repairs at the U-Turn on that same stretch of the road which was in a critical shape before the intervention.

He said the bad portion had caused lots of damages to vehicles, stressing that applying sharp sand and stone base had eased the situation, pending full reconstruction work by government.
