BREAKING: Senator John Azuta-Mbata Elected 13th Ohanaeze President-General


Senator John Azuta-Mbata has emerged as the 13th President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, a prominent Igbo socio-cultural organization.

This development comes after the past President-General, Nze Fidelis Chukwu’s brief tenure, which lasted only 27 days, from December 15, 2024, to January 10, 2025.

The election process was conducted via voice voting in Enugu on Friday, January 10, alongside Azuta-Mbata, 15 other individuals were elected to various executive positions within the organization.

Azuta-Mbata hails from Rivers State in South-south Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in the organisation’s history.
