Breaking: Former Federal Commissioner for Information,Edwin Clark is Dead

South-South leader and Former Federal Commissioner for Information, Edwin Clark, has died at the age of 97.

According to VANGUARD, his family made this known in a statement on Tuesday, February 18.

The family disclosed that Clark passed away on Monday, February 18, night.

The statement, signed by Prof. C. C. Clark, reads: “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February, 2025. The family appreciates your prayers at this time. Other details will be announced later by the family.”

Clark’s demise comes just days after the passing of Afenifere leader Ayo Adebanjo, who died at the age of 96.
