Birthday: Guwor Felicitates with Delta Deputy Governor, Onyeme at 59


Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has felicitated with the State Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Sir John Monday Onyeme as he turns 59 today.

The Speaker in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, rejoiced with Sir Onyeme on his celebration of 59 years and as the number two citizen of Delta State.

Rt Hon Guwor stressed that the 59 birthday celebration of Sir Onyeme is unique and historic being the first to be celebrated since he assumed office as Deputy Governor.

The Speaker on behalf of constituents and the Delta State Legislature, congratulated the celebrant for all he had achieved for himself, immediate family and the society at large.

Guwor commended the outstanding good working relationship between him and the State Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori as well as the camaraderie and synergy between his office and the Delta State House of Assembly.

He said successive governments of Delta State had always enjoyed harmonious relations between critical stakeholders, particularly the Governor, Deputy Governor and the State Assembly, even as he expressed optimism that such key aspect of governance will continue to glow in the state.

The Speaker assured the Deputy Governor of the irrevocable commitment of the State Legislature to successful implementation of the MORE agenda aimed at improving the standard of living and infrastructure in the state.
