Beneficiaries Of 24 Hours Light Commend Elekeokwuri


The Member representing Ika North East State Constituency in the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Anthony Emeka Elekeokwuri has once again received commendations for the 24 Hours Light For Rural Dwellers Empowerment Programme unveiled on the 24th of November 2017 during an enlarged PDP rally in Umunede.

The programme have over 50 constituents drawn from the rural areas empowered with solar control units to power their homes.

In our follow up visit to some of the beneficiaries in their various communities, villages and homes the elated constituents thanked the lawmaker for his kind gesture, noting that the solar control units installed in their homes by the legislator have improved their social lives in the rural areas as they now have 24 hours uninterrupted power supply.

The beneficiaries who eulogized the lawmaker for this lofty project promised their unreserved support and prayers.

Speaking on behalf of the lawmaker, his Special Assistant on media, Comr  Victor Iwekuba who led the crew on the visit said that the Lawmaker will continue to bring smiles to the faces of his constituents and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people at the grassroots.

He noted that the welfare, peace and security of the people remain the top priority of the legislator, adding that the office of the lawmaker has over this period, rolled out different empowerment programmes & schemes and urged constituents to key in.
