April Fools: Bobrisky Debunk Arrest Claims
Controversial cross-dresser and social media personality, Idris Okunneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, sparked widespread concern on Tuesday after claiming to have been arrested by Nigerian immigration officials.
In an Instagram post, Bobrisky alleged that he had been taken into custody, leaving many of his fans worried about his safety. However, in a surprising twist, the cross-dresser revealed in a later post that his initial claim was merely an April Fool’s prank.
This is not Bobrisky’s first run-in with the law. In April last year, he was arrested and sentenced to six months in prison for abusing the naira. The incident led to his decision to leave Nigeria a few months ago, citing a need to focus on his well-being.
Bobrisky’s prank has garnered mixed reactions from his fans, with some finding it amusing while others expressed frustration at being deceived.
