Our first open meeting was with the Delta State University Students Union Government (President, Senate President, Speaker of the House of Rep. and NANS National Director of Campus Affairs and Mobilisation). These key Student leaders and the School Management Officers saw to the stoppage of the arranged students protest/demonstration due to the obvious insecurity within the Student  Communities which resulted to the death of their own, Miss. Elozino Ogege a Mass Communication Student of DELSU, Abraka Campus, that would have increased tension and might completely disrupt their studies. Few weeks ago in same Abraka Campus there was a cult group who murdered their own due to power tussle and another cult group daring a violent combat with security agencies/outfits.
