Annie Idibia Breaks Social Media Silence After Public Split

Nollywood actress and reality TV star, Annie Idibia, has made a comeback to social media a prolonged absence. Her return comes months after her public split from music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia.

On March 26, 2025, Annie re-emerged on instagram, liking a post by fellow actress Ini Edo. However, it was noticed that her page had been cleared of all pictures from  the past few years, except for an old story highlight of her daughter Olivia.

Although her pictures were deleted, her previously posted reels, including those featuring her estranged husband, remain intact. Fans and followers took to social media to celebrate her return, expressing their support for her.

Annie had gone off the grid in January after 2Baba announced their separation and impending divorce on Instagram. The post sparked widespread attention, but was later deleted and replaced with a claim that his account had been hacked.

2Baba then posted a video of himself affirming that the news about their divorce was real, saying;

“Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long…I and Annie Macaulay have been separated for a while now. and currently filed divorce.”

During Annie’s social media break, 2Baba has been publicly showcasing his new relationship with Senator Natasha, even proposing marriage to her.
