Alleged Gross Misconduct: Agofure Motors Fires Adeleke as Head of Agofure Parcel Service
The Management of G. Agofure Motors (Agofure Parcel Services), has suspended indefinite one of her staff, Mrs. Rachael Adeleke, HOD Agofure Parcel Service, Headquarters, Effurun, Delta State over alleged gross-misconduct.
According to the statement, Mrs. Rachael Adeleke was alleged to have diverted APS customers goods to herself as the owner and registered the following items, (1) Six LG Refrigerator (GN-G2725LCB), (2) One Bicycle, (3) One Tile Cutter, (4) One Tool Box and (5) One SV2200 Generator, making it a total of Ten (10) items in her own name.
The statement signed by the General Manager, G. Agofure Motors, Mr. John Agbidi, alleged her of using her office as Head of Department (Agofure Parcel Services) to deprive the company of the right amount of Six Hundred Thousand Naira (600,000.00) and registered the above items for the sum off Sixty Thousand Naira (N60,000.00) and alleged to have positioned herself as the sender and the receiver respectively.
The statement pointed out that having looked at her actions above and betrayed the trust and lied to the management of the G. Agofure Motors, the company has decided to inform the general public that Mrs. Rachael Adeleke ceases to be a staff and Head of Agofure Parcel Services of G. Agofure Motors and Agofure Parcel Services and she immediately proceeds on indefinite suspension.
It further stated that in view of the above, Mrs. Rachael Adaleke can no longer represent the companies (G. Agofure Motors and Agofure Parcel Services) in any capacity, and that anyone who does business with her in the name of the companies does that at his or her own risk.
