Abraka Community in Asaba Visit Governor Okowa, Commends his Developmental Strides in Ethiope East
MembersĀ of Abraka Community resident in Asaba, today paid a thank you visit to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at the Delta State Government House, Asaba.
Speaking on behalf of the residents, Chief Judith Enamuotor commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his developmental strides in the state especially in Abraka Community despite the recession and assured of the cooperation and support of the people of the community.
In her words,Ā “We the good people of Abraka community are here today to thank you for developmental stride in Abraka Community and Delta State as a whole. We are grateful and Marvel at your achievement within a short period of time, for what you have done in Abraka Community, we are promising you today that the good people of Abraka will always stand by youā
Lending his voice to the commendation, Honourable Evance Ivwurie, Member Representing Ethiope East Local Government Area in the House of Assembly applauded Governor Okowaās developmental strides in the area stressing “In Abraka, we appreciate your leadership, we thank you from our heart for your achievements in Abraka, we pray May God Almighty give this state more money for you to do more in achieving a more grater achievementsā
ReceivingĀ the residents, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa reassured Deltans of his administration commitment to provide infrastructural development to all communities in the state.
He said that the state government would not relent in its efforts to bring development to all communities in the state stating āthanks to the people of Abraka for the commendation, I believe in justice, During my campaign I promised to do Justice to every community in Delta State, I will not abandon any community, we are hopeful and praying that things will turn around this year for greater delivery, we will continue to work with communities leaders and stakeholdersā.
The governor thanked the traditional ruler and people of Abraka for the support and commendation in the infrastructural development of the community
