7th Delta Assembly: Uviejitobor Commends Emergence Of Oborevwori, Ochor As Speaker And Deputy Speaker


The Member Representing Udu Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon Peter Uviejitobor has described the emergence of Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor as Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the 7th Delta State House of Assembly as commendable.

Hon Uviejitobor in a statement in Asaba, congratulated Rt. Hon. Oborevwori and Hon Ochor Ochor for their unanimous adoption into the exulted offices, by the twenty nine members of the house.

Describing the duo as worthy colleagues, brother and friends, Hon Uviejitobor, expressed optimism that they will apply the wealth of experience gathered over the years to enhance legislative businesses in the state legislature.

The Lawmaker said Delta State House of Assembly is unique as regards the ways and manners it handles it affairs, hence the rancor free election into the two principal offices of the house.

Hon Uviejitobor assured that the interest of Delta State and its people will always come first in the business and other activities of the house.

The Udu Constituency Lawmaker called for the continued support of Deltans to the house and the state governor, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as they collectively strive to move the state to the next level of development.
