60th Coronation Anniversary: Okowa Describes Obi Efeizomor As A Symbol Of Humility
Delta Governor, Sen. (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated the Chairman of Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and Obi of Owa Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Obi (Dr) Emmanuel Efeizomor, on his 60th coronation anniversary.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, on Friday, September 6, 2019 in Asaba, the governor described the renowned traditional ruler as a man of peace and extreme humility.
He said that Obi Efeizomor is a symbol of humility and had impacted positively on his people and the state.
The governor said that the monarch’s reign had brought incredible transformation and continuous peace to Owa kingdom.
According to him, I thank God Almighty for your life because in your reign, you have re-written the history of Owa kingdom, through your hard work and focus.
“You have continued to grow Owa land as well as ensured that peace continues to prevail across the kingdom.
“You have also continued to play active role as Chairman of Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers.
“As a peace builder, you have done your best to positively impact on the development of your kingdom and the state; your humility and friendliness have made you a symbol that is cherished by all who meet you.
“As a government, we appreciate your good counsel at all times and all you and your colleagues are doing at the grassroots to make governance easier for all of us.
”On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, therefore, I congratulate you, Your Royal Majesty, Obi (Dr) Emmanuel Efeizomor, OON, Obi of Owa Kingdom, on the occasion of your 60th coronation anniversary,” the governor said.
He wished the monarch many more years on the ancient throne of his forefathers.
