2021 LG Elections: Delta PDP Urges Decorum, Best Behaviour of Party Faithful
As the whistle has been blown for the commencement of processes and the jostling for elective offices in the Local Government categories, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State is calling on members of the party, faithful and other loyalists at all levels to put up the best bahaviour possible so as to make the election processes work out fine and well.
The party in a Press Release by the State Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza appealed with notable personalities, leaders, their supporters, and those interested in contesting the elections to put up the best conduct that will be devoid of rancour and make the whole process seamless.
The PDP is urging all those interested one way or the other in the Local Government elections to put up a showing that will exemplify decorum and good conduct and respect for the electoral process in a way that will not jeopardize the unity and spirit of camaraderie that currently exists in the party across the State.
We call on our leaders to ensure that their conduct in the election process for the emergence of candidates is transparent, fair, according to the rules, and without fear or favour. It is also expected that good conduct will prevail even during the campaign process as well.
Let it be stated for the avoidance of doubt that acts of indiscipline against rules of the electoral process will be viewed with seriousness and culprits will be sanctioned accordingly.
