2019: Okowa Sure of Victory as PDP Appoints Ned Nwoko Deputy Campaign Chairman

By Patrick Ochei

The Delta State Governor and PDP Gubernatorial flag bearer for 2019 election, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is sure of victory as the PDP has appointed one of the most formidable political juggernauts and strategists in the state, Prince Ned Nwoko as the State Deputy Campaign Chairman.

This news is coming at a time when the support of Ned Nwoko is undisputably needed to launch the PDP into victory at all levels of political contest, based on his populist ideology and overwhelming acceptance by majority of the electorate.

Feelers from the government circle have it that the Governor is pleased with Ned Nwoko who against all odds had remained in the party to support him and sustain the Anioma Agenda for a two term of office for an Anioma born Governor of Delta State.

Prince Ned Nwoko who is currently in court fighting for the Delta North Senatorial ticket of the PDP, which he alleged was denied him had often said he would remain a patriotic Anioma politician who from inception started the idea of Anioma Governor of Delta State, including other Anioma Agenda.

As soon as the news of his appointment brokered, many had been congratulating him knowing full well the stuff he is made of and the enormous goodwill he would bring to bare in Okowa’s campaign and victory.

The Star Prince of Anioma and former Member of the National Assembly is one politician in Nigeria whose support base cuts across political affiliations and inclinations; reasons his appointment is seen as one of the best political calculations of the Ekwueme Governor.

Prince Ned Nwoko alongside other appointees of the State Campaign Council will be inaugurated on Monday 10th December, 2018, at the Government House, Asaba.
