2019: Ajudua Meets With Councillors in Oshimili North
… Rallies Support for Okowa, Nwaoboshi and Wife’s Reelection.
Ahead of the 2019 general elections, business mogul and philanthropist, Chief Fred Ajudua has asked the people of Oshimili North local government area to stick to diligence and experience in their choice on who represents them in all the elective positions.
Addressing the leader, principal officers and councillors of the legislative arm of Oshimili North local government council, Chief Ajudua solicited for grassroots mobilization of support for the reelection of Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and the Chief Whip of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Pat Ajudua who represents Oshimili North in the House.
He said the trio of Okowa, Nwaoboshi and Ajudua have done very well in the present positions they occupied, stressing that they deserved another tenure to consolidate on their achievements.
Chief Ajudua said the meeting with the Councillors was continuation of the consultative visits to critical stakeholders in the locality on the reelection bid of Hon Pat Ajudua, stating that over seventy projects scattered across the local government area were attracted by the Lawmaker who he said had never been found wanting on the floor of the house.
He explained that the Ajudua family is in politics to further expand their humanitarian services to the people, pointing out that their priority had been to improve the wellbeing of the people, and that no one had been left in doubt about the ability of Hon Ajudua in providing quality representation to the people of Oshimili North in the state legislature.
Chief Ajudua reminded the people that elections are not won in the social media, even as he charged all to ignore all sorts of blackmail in the social media by those he described as enemies of Oshimili North, maintaining that in politics what matters most is popularity, contacts and service.
The Chief Whip, Hon Pat Ajudua had maintained that together with her husband, development of Oshimili North has always been the driving force, stressing that her desire to seek reelection into the Delta State House of Assembly under the platform of PDP was born out of the need to attract more development to the people.
Some of the elders of Oshimili North and members of Princes Pat Ajudua Project 2019, including Chief Tony Ogbo, said Hon Ajudua has achieved in both delivery of projects and sponsorship of bills and motions that had brought development to Oshimili North local government and the state in general.
They charged the people to keep faith with experience as the Chief Whip has all it takes to sustain the tempo of development in the local government area.
The Leader of Oshimili North Legislative Arm, Hon Emeke Odogu and the Deputy Majority Leader, Miss Tina Nwaokocha promised to mobilize for the sustenance of development and good governance in Oshimili North local government area.
They commended the Ajuduas for the consultative visit.
