DESOPADEC: Overah Inspects On-Going Projects In Ugborhen Community And Environs

The Honourable Commissioner representing Sapele, Ethiope West and Okpe Local Government Area in the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Rt. Hon. Joyce Overah has promised to ensure that all projects embarked upon by the Commission in the area will be completed.

Overah stated this on Monday, August 19, 2019 during a visit to sites of on-going DESOPADEC projects in Ugborhen, Elume, Okuovu, Ibada Elume, Ibada Amukpe, Okuovwori Amukpe, Ajimele and Sapele respectively.

Speaking after the visit, the Commissioner said that he will ensure that, all on-going projects are duly completed as new ones will be introduced, adding that, the board was established to put smiles on the faces of oil producing communities.

Hon. Joyce Overah further said that DESOPADEC is concerned with providing good health care, schools, roads, other amenities to host communities. DESOPADEC has intervened in the lives of individuals in the community and will continue to do so, he added.

The Commissioner was accompanied on the visit by delegates from DESOPADEC, Sapele area office Coordinator, Mrs Rachael Okpegwa, Engr. Atie Sunny Igho, and a team of others.
